Gilles de Gennes, LCD Inventor has Pass away

LCD inventor which also won Physics Nobel 1991, Pierre Gilles de Gennes passed away at 22 Mays 2007. De Gennes is previously chosen as acceptor of Physics Nobel to invention of liquid crystal and Polymer. The enthronement indirectly also positions himself as this century "Isaac Newton".

Even President Nicolas Sarkozy depicts de Gennes as best scientist owned by France. Prime Minister Francois Fillon also praises Gennes as generous individual which giving many contributions for research progress in the country.

Borns in Paris, 1932, de Gennes finalizes the college in Ecole Normale Superieure School. First time worked as magnet and spreading of neutron expert then makes a move to supraconductor company and last held responsible at job which relating to liquid crystal, until finally finds LCD or screen display by using liquid crystal technology.

"One day, we will be able to create a plane made from glue than should apply nail. But the problems is we never understood how glue can interact with surface attached by it," said de Gennes at a conference in Scotland (2002).

But now de Gennes has gone. His Idea and masterpiece would always remember in science world.
